Ellen was born and raised in Helena, Montana. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Montana in Missoula. She's been living in Fairbanks since 2019. She received her Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

She loves spending time outside enjoying all that Interior Alaska has to offer, including hiking, fishing, kayaking, and cross-country skiing. On extra-cold days you can find her inside cooking, baking, or reading a book.

Ellen is passionate about helping people understand the complexities and nuances of nutrition. She is eager to help patients find strategies that work for them to make meaningful improvements in their health and find enjoyment in all foods. She is able to help patients with weight management, digestive disorders, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, allergies/intolerances, and more.
